Cookie Policy of danjohn.com
The www.danjohn.com website uses "cookies": these are text files that are sent from a web server (i.e. the computer where the website visited is "hosted") to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the device, whether fixed or mobile, used for the User's navigation. The cookie allows the Site to identify the User's device, through the information stored in it, every time the User reconnects to the Site through that device.
The use of cookies makes it easier for Users to navigate the Site, as well as - following the collection of appropriate consent - to analyse their preferences and tastes by checking navigation and consequently to offer a promotion of products and services that are more consistent with the interests and expectations of the User.
The data controllers of the personal data collected through the cookies on the Site, each within the limits of the processing actually carried out, are the following:
• Dan John Italia S.p.A., with registered office in Via Ciro Menotti, 1, 00195 Rome (RM), Tax code and VAT number 13493011004, Tel. +39 06 45596260, E-mail info@danjohn.com, PEC rinahsrl@legalmail.it;

Cookies do not collect information directly identifying the User. The Companies cannot use cookies to retrieve any directly identifiable personal information (e.g. name, surname) unless provided directly by the User.
1. What types of cookies does the Site use
Cookies are not all the same and are distinguished according to:
• duration: cookies may be"session" cookies (when they are stored only for the duration of the browsing session on the Site and are deleted when the browser is closed), or "permanent" cookies (are stored for a longer time, until they expire or are deleted by the User);
• the person who installs them on the User's terminal equipment (cookies may be installed by the site operator or by a third party); and
• to their purpose.
Technical cookies
These are cookies used to ensure navigation and therefore the telematic transmission of data on the network or strictly necessary for the provision of services provided by the Site. These cookies are usually temporary, so-called "session cookies", and are released by the Site on the User's computer during navigation, but are only stored for the duration of the navigation session itself. This means that when the User closes his browser the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining stored on the computer. They are made up of random numbers generated by the server and serve to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the Site.
Through the use of these cookies we can facilitate the User's navigation within the Site, for example by remembering the data provided by the User when filling in forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognise the User after he/she has logged in to the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to recognise the User after he/she has logged in to the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognise the User after he/she has logged in to the Site (so-called user input cookies). cookies for authentication), to customise the site interface on the basis of the preferences indicated by the User, to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors to the site and on the most visited pages (so-called analytics cookies used with mechanisms for partially obscuring the IP), etc.
These cookies do not require the acquisition of the User's prior express consent as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the User of the Site.
Analytics cookies
These are cookies used for statistical analysis of the use of the Site and to monitor its correct operation. If they are used by adopting mechanisms for partially obscuring the IP they are assimilated to technical cookies; otherwise, the use of these cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
The system used is Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics, like the other systems, uses cookies to enable the website to analyse how Users use the Site.
Profiling cookies
These are cookies designed to create profiles on the User, for example, in order to send advertising messages that are consistent with the User's preferences: except as provided for in paragraph 3 below, these cookies are issued by the Site on the User's computer during navigation and are stored for the duration of the navigation session, until they expire or are deleted by the User (so-called "permanent cookies"). These cookies also allow us to offer you our commercial proposal on other affiliated websites (so-called retargeting). This category also includes social network cookies, which allow the User's social accounts to interact with the Site (e.g. by sharing content with other people or giving their opinion on content).
The use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
Tracking Pixels
The Website also uses tracking pixels (also known as "1x1 pixels" or "pixel tags"), which are graphic elements measuring 1x1 pixel in size that are installed when a User visits the Website or opens one of the emails sent by Rinah.
Each time the User visits the Website, the tracking pixel transmits limited information, including the User's IP address, to the relevant server. This tool is used for statistical purposes only, so the Companies do not have access to any information about individual Users. The information collected by means of the tracking pixels is used to carry out statistical analyses relating to (i) the number of Users using the Site, (ii) the number and type of pages visited, and (iii) the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
The deactivation of cookies does not automatically block the information transmitted by the tracking pixels, but the User can prevent the transmission of this information through the settings of his browser, by modifying the settings of his firewall or by using specific browser extensions.
Please note that your consent will only be required when you first access the Site: afterwards, we will store your consent using a technical cookie to allow you to access the pages of the Site directly (this is without prejudice to your right to deactivate/activate cookies at any time or to delete them, see point 6.2: in this case, the Site will ask for your consent again when you return).
In addition, if you give your specific consent to the analysis of your preferences during registration, the data relating to your navigation on the Site may be associated with your personal data.
2. Information on cookies issued by the Site
We provide the following information on the cookies used on the Site:
1) The domain name from which the Site server transmits cookies is: www.danjohn.com.
2) Purpose of collection: cookies are used for the purposes of (i) allowing easier and faster navigation within the Site or carrying out statistical and anonymous analyses/checks on the use of the Site(technical cookies); (ii) improving the navigation experience, analysing Users' preferences (e.g. pages visited, products selected, etc.) and suggesting the best products and promotions based on the navigation carried out(profiling cookies).
3) Data collected: the following information is stored: the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the User's operating system and computer environment.
From a technical point of view, cookies (transmitted by the domain www.danjohn.com) contain the following information: a numeric ID that uniquely identifies Rinah and a numeric ID that identifies the User (who is navigating within the Site), both stored in our database; a numeric ID that uniquely identifies the User's navigation (so-called "record") within our database; a pseudo-random alphanumeric session ID that is automatically deleted by the browser when it is closed (session cookie).
4) Validity of the cookies: the Site uses session cookies (i.e. cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed), as well as permanent cookies (i.e. cookies that are kept until they are deleted by the User), the duration of which does not exceed six months in any case.
5) Necessity of accepting cookies: accepting cookies is not compulsory; however, we would like to point out that deactivating technical cookies, although allowing navigation within the Site, may not make it possible to release certain content and functions of the Site.
6) Communication of data: the information collected through cookies is confidential and is not communicated to third parties.
3. Third-party cookies
The Site uses so-called "third party cookies" (e.g. Google Analytics, Social Network cookies, geolocation cookies), i.e. cookies that are issued and managed by parties other than the Companies. The Companies are not able to exercise any control over third party cookies and do not have access to the data collected through such cookies: the relevant information and consent obligations are therefore incumbent on the third parties, who typically act as independent data controllers of the data collected through the cookies installed by them. The User must therefore refer to the personal data processing policies, disclosures and consent forms provided by such third parties.
In order to allow you to make a free and informed choice, we indicate below (i) the type and identification of cookies, (ii ) the characteristics and purposes of cookies, as well as the link to the detailed information concerning these cookies:
