Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using WuvDay.
Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by WuvDay is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for WuvDay to provide its services. In cases where WuvDay specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service.
Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner.
Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools — by WuvDay or by the owners of third-party services used by WuvDay serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie Policy.

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organisational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Owner, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of WuvDay (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.
Place
The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.

Retention time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.
The purposes of processing
The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Service, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests (or those of its Users or third parties), detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following:

Facebook permissions asked by WuvDay
WuvDay may ask for some Facebook permissions allowing it to perform actions with the User's Facebook account and to retrieve information, including Personal Data, from it. This service allows WuvDay to connect with the User's account on the Facebook social network, provided by Facebook Inc.
For more information about the following permissions, refer to the Facebook permissions documentation and to the Facebook privacy policy.
The permissions asked are the following:
Access private data, Basic information, Birthday, Current City, Email, Gender and Hometown.
Device permissions for Personal Data access
Depending on the User's specific device, WuvDay may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.
By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document.
The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependant on the User's device and software.
Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of WuvDay.
If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by WuvDay.
Camera permission
Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device.
Microphone permission
Allows accessing and recording microphone audio from the User's device.
Photo Library permission
Allows access to the User's Photo Library.
Precise location permission (continuous)
Used for accessing the User's precise device location. WuvDay may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services.

Used for accessing the User's precise device location. WuvDay may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services.
The geographic location of the User is determined in a manner that isn't continuous. This means that it is impossible for WuvDay to derive the exact position of the User on a continuous basis.
Sensors permission
Used for accessing data from sensors that Users may use to measure what is happening inside their body, such as for instance, heart rate.
Storage permission
Used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.

Collection of privacy-related preferences
This type of service allows WuvDay to collect and store Users’ preferences related to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information, as requested by the applicable privacy legislation.
iubenda Consent Solution (iubenda srl)
The iubenda Consent Solution allows to store and retrieve records of Users’ consent to the processing of Personal Data, and information and preferences expressed in relation to the provided consent.
In order to do so, it makes use of a Tracker that temporarily stores pending information on the User’s device until it is processed by the API. The Tracker (a browser feature called localStorage) is at that point deleted.

OneSignal
OneSignal is a messaging service provided by Lilomi, Inc.
OneSignal allows the Owner to send messages and notifications to Users on platforms such as Android, iOS, and the web. Messages can be sent to individual devices, groups of devices, or based on topics or specific segments of Users.
To enable the functionality of the OneSignal service, WuvDay uses identifiers for mobile devices (including Android Advertising ID or Advertising Identifier for iOS) or technologies similar to cookies.

In most cases, Users will be able to deactivate notifications through the settings of their device (e.g., the push notifications section), making the related changes with respect to all or some of the applications present.

Tiledesk
Tiledesk is a platform that offers a Chat support service that can be integrated on both web and App platforms.
It allows the management of AI-based bots to ensure rapid support for users.
It collects data on the user's preferences regarding the widget needed for the conversation in order to adapt to the user's needs.

WuvDay may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services.

sessionStorage allows WuvDay to store and access data right in the User's browser. Data in sessionStorage is deleted automatically when the session ends (in other words, when the browser tab is closed).

Pseudonymous use
When registering for WuvDay, Users have the option to indicate a nickname or pseudonym. In this case, Users' Personal Data shall not be published or made publicly available. Any activity performed by Users on WuvDay shall appear in connection with the indicated nickname or pseudonym. However, Users acknowledge and accept that their activity on WuvDay, including content, information or any other material possibly uploaded or shared on a voluntary and intentional basis may directly or indirectly reveal their identity.

Legal basis of processing
The Owner may process Personal Data relating to Users if one of the following applies:
- Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes.
- provision of Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;
- processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Owner is subject;
- processing is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Owner;
- processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner or by a third party.
In any case, the Owner will gladly help to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Data is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.
Further information about retention time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.
Therefore:
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.
The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to fulfil a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.
The rights of Users based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by the Owner.
In particular, Users have the right to do the following, to the extent permitted by law:
- Withdraw their consent at any time. Users have the right to withdraw consent where they have previously given their consent to the processing of their Personal Data.
- Object to processing of their Data. Users have the right to object to the processing of their Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
- Access their Data. Users have the right to learn if Data is being processed by the Owner, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the Data undergoing processing.
- Verify and seek rectification. Users have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
- Restrict the processing of their Data. Users have the right to restrict the processing of their Data. In this case, the Owner will not process their Data for any purpose other than storing it.
- Have their Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed. Users have the right to obtain the erasure of their Data from the Owner.

User
The individual using WuvDay who, unless otherwise specified, coincides with the Data Subject.
